Introduction

Healthon, Inc., along with its subsidiaries ("Healthon," "we," or "us"), manages and operates the digital platforms accessible at www.healthon.com. These encompass our websites, mobile applications, and other online mediums (collectively, the "Platform"). Your engagement with the Platform, including any content ("Content"), services, or products provided through the Platform or by Healthon, and any related websites, software, or applications managed by us (together, the "Service"), is governed by this Privacy Policy. Unless explicitly stated otherwise herein, all capitalized terms have their definitions as per the Healthon Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions").

We prioritize the privacy of our Service users. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information through the Service.

By setting up, registering, or logging into an account via the Service, or by accessing or using the Service in any capacity, you acknowledge the latest version of this Privacy Policy. Should there be any modifications to our Privacy Policy, we will publish the updated version and revise the "Effective Date" accordingly.

If you are accessing the Service on behalf of someone other than yourself, you confirm that you have the authority to act on behalf of that individual, who also recognizes the practices and policies described in this Privacy Policy.

Use Limitations for Minors

The Service is primarily designed for users who are at least eighteen (18) years old or of a greater age as mandated by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service is utilized. Users aged between thirteen (13) and eighteen (18), or the age of majority, may access the Service solely for acne treatment consultations using topical products, provided a parent or legal guardian consents in line with our Terms and Conditions. The Service does not target, nor is it intended to attract, children under the age of thirteen (13). Should we become aware of personal information collected from someone under thirteen (13) via the Platform, we will endeavor to cease using such information and remove it from our records.

Additionally, individuals under sixteen (16) may request the removal of their personal information posted on the Platform by reaching out to us at:

Email: hi@healthon.com, with "Removal of Minor Information" as the subject.

Please specify in your request the content or information you wish to be removed, its location on the Platform, and affirm that the request pertains to "Removal of Minor Information." Include your name, address, city, state, zip code, and preferred contact method (mail or email). Note that we do not accept removal requests via phone or fax. Healthon is not liable for non-compliance with requests that are incomplete, incorrectly labeled, or sent improperly.

Please be aware that in certain situations, such as when required by law or when the content is managed on behalf of your healthcare providers as part of your medical record, we may not be able to remove your information.

This section reflects Healthon's voluntary approach to gathering personal information from specific minors via the Service and does not constitute an acknowledgment of being subject to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act or similar laws.

Protected Health Information

Creating an account with Healthon establishes a direct customer relationship, allowing you access to various functions of the Platform and Service. In this context, you may provide us with personal and transactional information, which we do not consider "protected health information" or "medical information."

However, the Service might involve the provision of health or medical information protected under certain laws. While Healthon is not a "covered entity" under HIPAA, it may, in some instances, act as a "business associate" to healthcare providers. It's important to understand that HIPAA might not apply to all interactions with Healthon or the healthcare providers, labs, or pharmacies you engage with through the Service.

Any protected health information, as defined under HIPAA, provided to Healthon in its capacity as a business associate, will be handled in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Additionally, any health or medical information protected under state laws will only be used and disclosed in compliance with such laws. Non-protected information may be utilized or disclosed as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge the Notice of Privacy Practices provided by your healthcare providers, which describes their use and disclosure of protected health information.
